Dedicated Dance Instructor Reaches The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ginette Guimond to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her sensational work in the Performing Arts.

VAUGHAN, ON, CANADA, December 22, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ginette Guimond to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her sensational work in the Performing Arts. As Owner and Director of Maple Academy of Dance Inc. for the past 12 years, Ginette has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

Established in 1998, the Maple Academy of Dance offers dance classes at the recreational and competitive levels. Among the disciplines they provide are ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, acrobatics and musical theatre. They take pride in individuality and bringing out the best in each and every student at the Academy.

Over the years, the Maple Academy of Dance's students have participated in numerous events including: Maplefest, Maple Santafest Parade, Maple Lions Club Pancake Festival, Grand Opening of Vaughan Mills, National Tap Dance Day at Nathan Philips Square, Dance for Orly, Bhai Faith Community Festival, Vaughan City Concerts in the Parks, and Walk for Cancer. They were also incredibly successful in their competitions at Regionals and Nationals in Myrtle Beach, Disney Florida, New York City, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Ginette has been an active member of Dance Masters of America since 1987 and is currently the Secretary for Chapter #43. She is a National Certified DMA Examiner in Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Acrobatics. In addition, Ginette is a member of Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists, the union for professional performers. She receives "Teacher Recognition Awards" yearly for her innovative choreography and students' outstanding technique. Ginette's students' achievements include winning several 1st Overall High scores in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre across Canada and the United States.
