New trends in dance will be explored at the Madrid International Dance Festival this autumn.
MADRID, SPAIN, October 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anyone heading to the Madrid International Dance Festival is set to enjoy the performances of a whole host of talented artists.
Running from November 8th to 28th, the event also aims to showcase current trends in the artistic discipline for attendees.
There will be plenty of different dance styles to appreciate during the course of the occasion, so guests at Madrid hotels may wish to attend several shows if they can.
Among the artists taking to the stage for the Madrid International Dance Festival will be performers from the UK, Israel, Canada, Poland, Colombia, the US and several other nations across the globe.
Vice president and minister of culture and sport at the Communidad de Madrid, Ignacio Gonzalez, explained that this is the 25th edition of the event and there will be a total of 33 companies acting out 73 shows throughout the course of the series.
With all this choice it may prove difficult for people to pick just one performance to attend, particularly since major dance acts such as Transit Dansa, Rosie Kay Dance Company and Angel Rojas Project will all be taking to the stage.
The shows are all individually priced and will take place at a variety of different venues across the city, such as the Teatro Pradillo and Sala Cuarta Pared.
