Tango Mundo Festival Brings Buenos Aires to Palm Springs
Memorial Day Weekend Festival Provides Beginning to Advanced Tango Workshops
GARDEN GROVE, CA, May 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tango Mundo Festival 2010, a three day festival at the Rivera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs will showcase classic Argentine Tango and Nuevo (alternative) Tango in one central location. Tango Mundo Festival will host three full days of workshops starting on May 28th featuring some of the top world-class instructors and professional dancers from Buenos Aires and the United States.

"This is a great opportunity for new dancers to learn more about tango, and for advanced dancers to further practice and enhance their tango dance techniques. We'll be providing great entertainment with Broadway caliber shows and exhibitions every night, and attendees can look forward to dancing all-night with the super stars of Tango. This event will truly be a TANGO HEAVEN wrapped around the Memorial Day weekend."
The Tango Mundo Festival will be held between May 27 - 31, 2010 at the Rivera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, California, and is hosted by DanceSport California. The festival will feature three full days of dance workshops and four nights of milongas (social dance parties) in three ballrooms. The festival features a beginner tango bootcamp, Saturday Gala Dinner and Show and other world-class dance shows in the evenings.
Tango Mundo Festival will also feature dance exhibitions and a Pro Am Dance Competition with a $500 cash prize. A free introductory tango class will be taught on Thursday, May 27th.
