SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, April 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Some of the world's biggest dance acts will soon be travelling to Sydney for an annual highlight of the city's musical calendar.
Now in its seventh year, We Love Sounds is a one-day touring festival that begins in Auckland, New Zealand on Friday June 4th before heading to Australia for a string of further dates.
The Sydney event takes place in the city's Moore Park Precinct on Saturday, June 12th and the line-up is already causing great excitement among local music fans.
Following in the footsteps of previous headliners such as DJ Shadow, Cassius and Armand Van Helden, legendary British dance act Underworld top the bill for this year's festival.
Essex duo Karl Hyde and Rick Smith have been recording together since the 1980s and released their seventh studio album, Oblivion with Bells, in 2007.
People using accommodation in Sydney can also look forward to performances from the likes of Crookers, Tiga, Felix Da Housecat, Zombie Nation and Laidback Luke at We Love Sounds.
The festival site has been extended this year to incorporate the Showring in Moore Park, which will now house a big top tent alongside the other arenas.
Tickets for the event are priced at AU$119.90 plus booking fee and can be purchased from a number of online outlets.
