LateRooms.com - Dance the Night Away at Dusseldorf's Flamenco Festival
People heading to Dusseldorf for a weekend break may want to pack their dancing shoes and take part in the city's Flamenco Festival.
DUSSELDORF, GERMANY, February 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anyone who has booked Dusseldorf hotels at the end of March may want to make sure that they have a pair of dancing shoes in their suitcase.
This is because the German city is set to welcome its annual Flamenco Festival from March 25th.
Running until April 5th, visitors can take in performances of the iconic Spanish dance or have a go themselves.
A host of professional dancers will be making their way to Dusseldorf for the event, to both put on spectacular shows and to teach anyone who wants to learn the art of the passionate south European dance.
The festival will be held at the Tanzhaus NRW, which is located on Erkrather Strasse and is easily accessible from the city's main railway station.
Normal opening hours at the venue are from 10:30 (local time) until 24:00, with a restaurant on-site to provide refreshment to those left hungry and thirsty from all the dancing.
Prices for the different workshops at the festival will vary, so it is advisable to check specific costs with the Tanzhaus NRW before attending any events.
Last year's event featured workshops from the likes of Rosalia Moreno, Mercedes Ruiz and Rafaela Carrasco.
If you're heading to the Düsseldorf Flamenco Festival this year, we strongly advise that you book your hotel Dusseldorf as soon as possible, given the huge popularity of the event.
