First Ever, East Coast Healing Dance Experience
On Saturday, March 29th, 2008, 35 women from several states along the east coast will come together to participate in Yoga, Tai Chi, Authentic Native Dance and Belly Dance in a program entitled "The East Coast Heal by Dance Experience".


/Dance News Articles/ - WHITE PLAINS, NY, March 16, 2008 - The 4 hour event (beginning at 12 noon) will take place at the Theodore Young Community Center, 32 Manhattan Avenue, in White Plains, New York (914.989.3600).

What makes this event unique is that the program will be conducted within an atmosphere of complete vocal silence. The participants will meet after 7-14 days of nutritional, physical and emotional preparation in a sanctuary-like environment, to utilize the tranquility as a medium for self-healing.

Dr. Nalani Valentine (known in her community as Dr. Nalani) is a Naturopathic doctor of Hygienic Science, and a Kemetian Priestess. She felt inspired to offer this experience as a means of reducing the many deleterious effects of stress, stating "Women are constantly nurturing others; it's good for them to take a little time to be nurtured. I wanted to share the benefits of wholistic healing in such a way as to leave a lasting impression and memory that will not be soon forgotten"

The program will include Aromatherapy, authentic Shamanic music, Massage Therapy and Reiki.

Dr. Nalani has structured the Heal by Dance Experience after her book "7 Steps to Healing and Wellness - Using Essential Oils and the Kybalion as a Guide", and is giving each of the participants a personal 7 step holistic health consultation as the initial step of the program.
